Superiority Starts From The Ground Up

We are an Australian Air Force Squadron situated next to Mt Erin College in Robinsons Road, Frankston, Victoria. We parade on Wednesday Nights from 6:30pm till 09:30pm during the school year, with the exception of public and school Holidays.

“Australian Air Force Cadet Training changed my life”

Our cadets are teenagers (or adolescents) aged from 13 – 20 years of age, who are keenly interested in the defence forces and aircraft with many aspiring to become fighter pilots one day.

We regularly participate in fieldcraft activities in the bush during our weekend camps which can range from 2 days at  HMAS Cerberus, to a 4 day exercise in a Victorian State Forest.

Other activities include weapons training on the F88 Steyr rifle (following completion of proficiency training), drill and ceremonial marching, and much more.

We also have regular events involving aircraft, from acting as a barrier control marshall at air shows, to joyflights and pilot training at the Westernport Airfield or at RAAF (Royal Australian Air Force) Base Williams at Point Cook.
