The Indian Air Force will display its full combat power capability when ‘Vayu Shakti-2010′, its biggest firepower demonstration is unleashed at the Pokhran firing rangess.About 70 planes of different variety like Sukhoi 30s, Mirage 2000, Jaguars, MIG 21, attack helicopters, uavs and high-tech AWACS will display their full firepower.

Airmen from the US and Royal Thai Air Forces conducted personnel airdrop training from a C-17 Globemaster III near Bangkok, Thailand, March 3, 2010, as part of Cope Tiger 2010. More than 60 qualified jumpmasters from the US Air Force and the Royal Thai Air Force Parachute Team completed three separate jumps as the first major activity of the Cope Tiger field training exercise. Cope Tiger is an annual, multilateral aerial large force exercise conducted in Thailand that includes humanitarian and civic assistance programs. The mission marked the first time Thai personnel jumped out of a C-17 using a static line. In addition to the static-line jumps, US and Thai airmen performed High Altitude-Low Opening jumps from the back end of the jet, as seen in this video.

Pokhran,March 01 (ANI):Showcasing its precision strike capabilities during day and night, Indian Air Force on Sunday carried out a massive fire power blitzkrieg using its frontline aircraft such as SU-30 MKI,Mirage-2000,MIG 27 and MIG 29,at the Pokhran ranges in Rajasthan. The high-voltage exercise Vayu Shakti 2010,witnessed by President Pratibha Patil,Defence Minister AKAntony and the three chiefs of the Army,Navy and the Air Force,and a host of foreign dignitaries,showcased massive bombing,aerial dog fight and day-night air drop of commandos in the Thar desert.
