The AAFC will teach you valuable life skills and will help you develop qualities including leadership, self reliance, confidence, teamwork and communication.
Some of the activities undertaken by cadet in the AAFC include powered flying, fieldcraft, adventure training, drill and ceremonial, service knowledge, firearms safety training, aeromodelling, navigation and gliding, along with many other electives and activities

Being a cadet in the AAFC means becoming a part of a team that inspires, motivates and achieves goals.

You will learn many things from navigating and living in the bush, to flying a glider or plane, to firearms safety and general service life. These skills will help you in your future when either looking for entrance into the ADF, or even a new job where leadership skills and professionalism is needed.
